VSSM celebrates Republic Day in a unique way….

Nomadic Children standing up in respect for the
national anthem

The occasion was  the Republic Day of India, the national anthems were being played on SKYPE and the children of Baccha Khan High School in Peshawar and the nomadic children of VSSM operated hostels stood up in respect for the national anthems of both these countries.

It had been decided that the children of both these institutes located in distant lands will interact over SKYPE for 35 minutes where they will share with each other insights of their lives and lands. But once the children got talking it was difficult to keep track of the time limit. They talked about Mohenjo-Daro and Harrapan civilizations, Bollywood, Salman Khan, foods and places of interest, festivals, their aspirations and so much more and the 35 minutes got extended to 3 hours.

The children on both the sides felt why can’t they be friends when there was so much of similarity… invites to  visiting each other’s countries were exchanged before saying their goodbyes...

Wish we could be this simple and innocent,  the world definitely would have been a better place….

The entire though of observing the occasion in such a unique way was conceptualized and executed by one of our youngest team members Maulikraj. We are so glad he is part of the VSSM team…

vssm દ્વારા અનોખી રીતે ઊજવાઈ 26મી જાન્યુઆરી

ભારત અને પાકિસ્તાનનું રાષ્ટ્રગાન તા.26મી જાન્યુઆરી 2017ના રોજ સ્કાઈપ પર ગવાયું અને બચ્ચાખાન મોર્ડન  હાઈસ્કુલ પેશાવરના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને વિચરતા સમુદાય સમર્થન મંચ સંચાલિત હોસ્ટેલમાં ભણતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ઊભા થયા અને એકબીજાના રાષ્ટ્રગાનને સન્માન આપ્યું. 

35 મીનીટ વાતો કરવાનું નક્કી કર્યું હતું તેની જગ્યાએ વાતો ખૂટતી જ નહોતી. મોહેંજો દરોથી લઈને હડ્ડપન્ન સંસ્કૃતિ, સલમાનખાન, હિન્દીફિલ્મો, ગુજરાતના ફરવા લાયક સ્થળો, અહીંયા બનતી વાનગી, ઊજવાતા તહેવારો, મોટા થઈને શું બનવું છે, વગેરે વગેરે કાંઈ કેટલીયે વાતો થઈ. લગભગ 3 કલાક વાતો કરી.

બાળકોની નિર્દોષ વાતો તમે અમારા જેવા જ છો. આપણે દોસ્તી કરી શકીએ. તો સામે હમ દોસ્ત હૈ એટલે જ વાત કરીએ છીએ. છેવટે તમે પાકિસ્તાન – પેશાવર આવજો અને તમે ભારતમાં અમદાવાદ આવજોની મીઠી યાદ સાથે વાતો બંધ થઈ. 

બધા જ આવા નિર્દોષ થઈ જાય તો કેટલું સારુ..

ફોટોમાં રાષ્ટ્રગાનને સન્માન આપી રહેલા બંને દેશના બાળકો તથા દિવ્યભાસ્કરે ખુબ સરસ રીતે આખી વાતને પ્રકાશીત કરી તે જોઈ શકાય. 

આવો અનોખો વિચાર આપનાર અમારી ટીમનો સૌથી નાનો મૌલિકરાજ. સાથે છે એનો આનંદ..
